I’m not feeling well.  No post today.

The Pro-Bowl is on tonight.  It’s kinda’ like football lite.  The NFC is currently leading 42 to 7.  The players get voted in to the game and make a big bonus check for playing in it.  They play this game for fun rather than for real.  The defense isn’t even allowed to blitz.  Every year I turn this game on and expect a real football game.  Silly me.  As soon as my Kindle is recharged I’ll be able to get to something more interesting.  I’m reading,”The Four Feathers”, by A.E.W. Mason. Mason is an author I like alot.  He wrote back at the turn of the century.(Not this last one but the ‘turn of the century before.  Ya’ know like the 1900′s).  His books are an interesting look into how people thought and acted back then.

UPDATE: The NFC beat the AFC 55 to 41

Ok, so I’m driving over to the Lunch Bunch this morning and it’s snowing, again so I have my windshield wipers on and all of a sudden the passenger side wiper starts just a flopping and whipping around.  It self destructed and disasembled itself while I was driving down the road.  It was all of a sudden interesting to be driving with only half the windshield clean.  Lucky for me it had stopped snowing by the time the meeting was over and I got to an auto parts store and bought a new one but for a short time this morning driving was a bit of a challenge.
I get home and turned on the vidiot box to see if there are any movies on that I may want to watch.  Lo and behold Trainspotting is on soon.  So I tune to the channel and when it comes on I find that all the “bad” words are bleeped out and the channel it’s on has commercials.  I turned it off.  Bummer!  I wanted to see that movie but I don’t like watching censored and interupted flicks.  So that’s how my Saturday has gone.  See all of you tomorrow.

It snowed again today.  That’s all it ever seems to do anymore.
I hate winter.

How cool is this?  After getting another good 6 inches of global warming last night the temps have gone above freezing(32F).  I went outside this morning without a coat and no hat on nor any gloves.  It was down-right balmy out.  It is 34F outside right now.  I shouldn’t get use to this.  Winter is far from over.  This must be some kind of mid-winter thaw.  Temps above freezing have been something of a rarity around here.  I’m enjoying it…quite alot.
Today I went to Sears and bought a microwave oven.  Boy, I know I live just such an exciting life. The place I moved from had a microwave built in in the kitchen and this apartment has none.  At least had none until today.  I bought a small Kenmore.  I checked out lots of microwaves on line yesterday and this one stood out and had the options I wnat so I went and bought it.  The important thing is that it has a turntable so the food inside of it goes round and round while cooking.  Now all I have to do is to buy some micrwavable foodstuffs.  Burritos come to mind.  Yum, microwaved burritos with hot salsa.  I know what I’m making for dinner so I guess I have to go to the grocery store.  Lucky for me the grocery store is right next door to the apartment complex.  Heck, it’s so nice outside I might just walk over there.  Why not?   I’ll save some gas and get some good exercise.  Good idea.  I’m outta’ here.  See all of you tomorrow.

Well it’s back to the cable TV again.  My TV picture just turned off in the middle of the local newscast so I called them up and after a bit of wrangling they found the fault and turned it back on.  In doing so the technician noticed that my bill was rather high.  “Huh?” I said.  He pointed out that the promotional rate I had did not transfer to the new address.  “OK, turn it off”,I said.  Well long story short he transferred me to another guy who gave me even more channels, a much lower price and it’s all good for the next year.  Yea me!

I’m bored.  There’s lots to do here, what with putting stuff away and in it’s place but I just don’t feel like doing any of it.  I did enough today.  So there you have it.  I’m bored with lots to do.  Does that make any sense?
Well I’m still bored but I just did something that made me happy.  I found out that the remote control for my cable box in the bedroom can also be set to turn on and off the TV being used.  It works.  Pretty darn cool if you ask me.    I programmed the correct code into the remote and now I have a remote controlled TV in the bedroom.  This may not sound like a big deal but I have never had a TV in my bedroom before much less one that works with a remote control.  Wow, I feel like such a lush or maybe like a big fat lazy guy.  Ain’t technology great.  Ha!
Now the problem is when am I going to use thr TV in the bedroom.  I go to bed at the same time every night and I lie there and read for an hour or so then I go to sleep.  So to be honest with ya’ I’m not quite sure why I have a TV in my bedroom.  I guess I could watch TV while folding laundry or changing my sheets.  The more I think  about the more I think I’m not going to use it too much.  I wonder if the cable company is charging me for a second room of TV.  If they are then it’s gonna’ be history.  Oh well for now I’ll revel in the idea of haveing a remote controlled cable TV in my bedroom.  I’ll see all of you tomorrow.

I have spent the whole day unpacking and putting things away.  Ugh.  I’m beat.  This is as close to a real post as I’m going to get today.  On a good note, I have alot of closet space and that’s a good thing.  I also spoke to my friend Maggie today.  I like talking to Maggie.  She’s a good person.  We have plans to go have coffee on Saturday.  We’ll laugh alot.

The move is complete.  Everything I own is here in my new apartment.  Things might be a bit disarranged right now but it will sort itself out over time.  I hooked up the cable TV and the internet so I am  able to post this and watch the Steelers play the Jets.  I’m happy being all moved in one shot.  I’m glad I didn’t drag it out over a couple of days.  I may be sore and tired but I’m all moved.

Well it looks like this is my last post for a few days.  All the good vibes you sent me in haveing to deal with the cable company worked and I got everything done in a single visit there.  Now the bad news.  My cable and internet is being turned on at the new place tomorrow morning and turned off here so I won’t have access to the internet until I get all my stuff moved on Sunday.  Oh well it could be worse.  See ya’ in a few days.
