They did it!

My beloved Phillies have won the World Series and are now the Baseball Champions of the Universe!
Game five was phantastic! It was delayed on Monday night about 10pm and then resumed on Wednsday night at 830pm with the Phils up 3 games to one and a tied score of 2 to 2 following the top of the 6th.
It was 46 hours between the top and the bottom of the 6th. The fightin’ Phils pulled it out in the 8th by knocking in a run and going up 4 to 3 so all that was left to do was have “Mr. Perfect” Brad Lidge throw the top of the 9th. That he did and on the third out the Phillies won their first World Series Pennant since 1980.
