If someone loves you and they leave and don’t come back, it was never meant to be. If someone loves you and they leave and come back, set them on fire.
I think it’s the duty of the comedian to find out where the line is drawn and cross it deliberately.

George Carlin was an ass. He pushed buttons for profit. That’s where he screwed up! If you push societies buttons to reveal a problem in said society, then that is grand and admirable. But like so many other famous people, he did it for the money and attention.
Also, I don’t agree with your premise on love. Love is like anything else. Sometimes you have to fight for it! Sometimes it kicks you in the arse. You have to get back up swinging and fight for what you want!
All in all, George was a hilarious guy. Rest in Peace, sir.
