Today I learned that when one builds a fire in the fireplace, one needs to open the flue. The other thing I learned is that home smoke detectors are REALLY loud.

I never did that, but I did manage to forget about a pot of beans one time and smoke up the entire house.
crap.
I do that once a year too. Sucks every time.
takes some time too – getting that smell out – never makes sense that a fire smells so good, but when the smoke is in your living room, it just stinks.
I haven’t forgotten your memetag by the way, it’s just hard.
