Nathan’s on the corner of Surf and Stillwell
July 4th, 2007Joey Chestnut, an American, has finally beaten the Japanese guy with a really long name that I can neither type nor pronounce (Takeru “Tsunami” Kobayashi) to become the winner of The Nathan’s Famous Fourth of July International Hot Dog Eating Contest. He also broke the record by eating 66 hotdogs in 12 minutes. Sniff, sniff, I am so filled with patriotic pride. I feel like it’s the Americas Cup. We have finally brought the title back home.
By the way, Nathan’s are the second best hot dogs ever made. They are second only to Hebrew National hotdogs.
