A walnut and a hickory are of the same family

So when we found the two trees growing together
I stepped back
and
looked at the miracle
the chain saw was newly sharpened
I said
DON’T!
I said
then we sat down and I said why
I said
look
symbiosis and nature and all that shit
the two differences spiraled
together
together
was too 2 cool
it was the look that won my argument
not the science or logic nor bunny hugging bullshit
the two trees just looked too cool
they still do
the Walnut and the Hickory
it’s going to be left for Jenny and her children
and theirs’….we can only hope
